Professor Hung-yu Chuang specializes in Intellectual Property Law, Technology Law, and Patent Law. Besides his research, he teaches both Chinese and English medium courses, including Internet Law, Medical Intellectual Property Law, Competition Law, and Seminar on Artificial Intelligence and Law. He is also a licensed patent attorney in Taiwan. Professor Chuang received his Ph.D. and LL.M. from the University of Washington School of Law and his LL.B. from National Taiwan University. He also holds an MBA degree from National Cheng-Chi University and a B.S. in Engineering from National Taiwan University. He has directed several government-sponsored research projects on artificial intelligence and law.
