Dr. Mostafa Shehabeldin earned his bachelor’s degree in Oral and Dental Medicine from Cairo University with distinction and honors, then went on to pursue clinical practice in hospital, academic and private settings. Between 2014 and 2021, Dr. Shehabeldin pursued a master of science in Oral Biology and a PhD degree in Oral and Craniofacial sciences at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine supported by the esteemed Fulbright Scholarship and several graduate student fellowships. During his graduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Shehabeldin conducted basic and translational research in bone biology, osteoimmunology and oral innate immune response and published several original research and review articles in peer-reviewed dental and biomedical journals. Shortly after earning his PhD, Dr. Shehabeldin joined the Periodontics Graduate program at the University of Michigan school (UM) of Dentistry and earned a certificate in Periodontics and another master's degree.
