I am Muath, a young passionate MD candidate and aspiring clinician-scientist. At this point, I am building up my capabilities in evidence based medicine and data science. Currently, I am working on different research projects including: Symptoms of COVID-19 (SR & meta-analysis), Long COVID-19 (Tweets analysis study), COVIDPaedsCancer study (international multicentre cohort study), and COVID-19 cross-protection (Hypothesis article).

Gaza medical students abroad: motives, siege and wars effect, academic performance and career prospects
In this cross-sectional study we shed some light on how the 13-years long ongoing siege on Gaza severely affect Gazan medical students not only those studying in Gaza, but also those studying abroad.
This work has been presented at the Lancet Palestinian Health Alliance Conference(LPHA) in Amman on March 2019 (we couldn't present it by ourselves due to travel restrictions!) and will appear online as conference proceeding at the Lancet journal by July 2021.
