Mrs. Svetlana Cociu is PhD student, within the Department of Preventive Medicine, Hygiene Discipline, SUMP “Nicolae Testemitanu”. She is the winner of a Fogarty Scholarship, Certification Program in Ethics and Research Methodology, in collaboration with Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York and Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania (2019-2021). She is a reasercher within 2 research grants within the iCREATE Injury and Violence Prevention Experiential Learning Project for the years 2018 and 2020. During the last 5 years he is co-author in 8 scientific papers, 13 abstracts and oral communications at national and international scientific forums. Ms. Cociu obtained first degree diploma and an honorary award at the VII Bucovina International Congress in Medicine and Pharmacology of Students and Young Researchers (BIMCO 2020); diploma with the 3rd place at MedEspera 2020 and the diploma in research performance at the Congress dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the founding of the SUMP "Nicolae Testemitanu", 2020. Ms. Cociu is a scientific researcher in 2 international projects and a national coordinator in 2 international initiatives.
