I am a visiting assistant professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT, United States. Prior to that, I worked as a postdoc at the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. My career has been conducting research, teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, and delivering community services. I am interested in conducting research on understanding how the hydrological process changes under varying climate conditions at different spatial resolutions (local, regional, and global). I also focus on ongoing regional and global water resources change as a result of climate variability and anthropogenic activities. My current research works include drought-flood underlying alterations, global hailstorm impacts, and tripartite impacts of irrigation, urbanization, and climate change on global water resources.
